Jim Triggs worked for the Gibson Custom Shop for six years, and now works with his son Ryan in Kansas City. Here is a handmade flat top tribute guitar from the Kansas Walnut Valley festival 38th year. This large body guitar has tons of crisp note fundamental, bright shimmering trebles and lots of volume. The abalone and pearl appointments add to the visual impact of this lovely set of curly maple on the sides and back. It plays really well, is in great overall shape with little wear and tear and comes with a TKL hardshell case.

MORE →I picked up this beauty from the 2011 MIAC show here in Toronto. What a guitar! Taylor has put a great spin on their Classic electric solidbody model with this comfortable double cutaway design. Like all Taylor guitars, this Classic Double Cutaway features meticulous build quality from top to bottom. You simply won’t find a tighter neck pocket anywhere, the trem is silky smooth, and the fretwork is perfect.
