❌SOLD❌ Ernie Ball Music Man Albert Lee SSS Hardtail Cherry Red, 2005

❌SOLD❌ Ernie Ball Music Man Albert Lee SSS Hardtail Cherry Red, 2005

The Ernie Ball Music Man Albert Lee line has become one of my favourites and I wish I’d had one years ago – even if it wouldn’t have made me sound like Albert Lee!
Introduced in 1993, the Ernie Ball Music Man Albert Lee SSS was available only in hard tail 1996, when the Vintage Trem was an optional extra. Now, there are several versions of the model, with a pair of humbuckers, three narrow single coils, or three P-90s and the Music Man Silent Circuit, an active system that delivers noise cancellation to single coil pickups.

❌SOLD❌ Fender Custom Shop 1951 Telecaster Relic Blonde, 2016

❌SOLD❌ Fender Custom Shop 1951 Telecaster Relic Blonde, 2016

The Fender Custom Shop 1951 Telecaster Relic features a light-weight Ash body, and a full-U profile, one piece Maple neck. This neck design was one of Leo Fender’s breakthroughs. The finish reproduces the original nitrocellulose lacquer ‘blonde’, but with significant wear. Tuners are Kluson Deluxe style with metal buttons, as Fender continued to use for decades. The bridge offers three Brass saddles, and has the Patent Pending stamp, as many early 1950’s models did (until Fender ran out and had to re-order).

❌SOLD❌ Ernie Ball Music Man Luke II, Luke Blue, 2012

❌SOLD❌ Ernie Ball Music Man Luke II, Luke Blue, 2012

Here we have a very clean, all original Ernie Ball Music Man Luke II in ‘Luke Blue’ finish – a light pearlescent blue, tending towards grey. This guitar dates to October 2, 2012 with a build code of 915 15 20 00 CS CR, and comes from the Ernie Ball Music Man shop in San Luis Obispo. Aside from its all round good looks, comfortable design, this is a very versatile guitar. It pairs an Alder body with a Maple neck and Indian Rosewood twelve inch radius fingerboard – and that’s it for the wood choices!

❌ SOLD❌ Fender 50th Anniversary Stratocaster Sunburst, 2004

❌ SOLD❌ Fender 50th Anniversary Stratocaster Sunburst, 2004

Here we have a very well preserved Fender 50th Anniversary Stratocaster, built during 2004 at the Fender plant in Corona, California. This example features an Ash body and Maple neck, with a single-layer white pickguard. The finish is the early style two-tone sunburst. For this, Fender sprayed a yellow center coat and then a dark ring around the body edges.
This is not a slavish re-creation of the 1954 model. It also sports a modern two-point trem bridge with steel block saddles – this is one of our favourite bridges for the improved brightness, clarity and separation offered by the heavier bridge components.

❌SOLD❌ Fender Stratocaster Left Handed Made In Japan Blonde, 1987

❌SOLD❌ Fender Stratocaster Left Handed Made In Japan Blonde, 1987

It’s unusual to see a Fender Stratocaster in Left Handed form, from the start of the ‘New’ Fender era when much of Fender’s production was Made in Japan. Here, we have a Fender Stratocaster Left Handed built during 1987 at the FujiGen Gakki plant in Nagano, in Blonde finish with Rosewood fingerboard. The original pickups have been replaced with Seymour Duncan models, and the original pick guard with a faux-tortoise unit. This really works well with the Rosewood fingerboard.
