The Collings C100 is a full size steel string acoustic with ‘Parlor’ type dimensions, providing great representation throughout the sonic range. Available in two versions, the Collings C100 series starts with the model seen here, pairing a Sitka Spruce top with Honduran Mahogany for the sides, back, body blocks and neck. The head plate, fingerboard and bridge are ebony. The Collings logo and position markers are Mother of Pearl.

The Heritage H150 is based on the classic Les Paul design, and built in the former Gibson plant in Parsons Street in Kalamazoo, Michigan. This tried and true design features a figured Maple cap on a Mahogany body, Mahogany for the neck and Indian Rosewood for the bound fingerboard. The dimensions and finishes also draw from the same source, and the tapered Heritage headstock is one of the few visual cues as to what these excellent guitars are.

MORE →Built from 1989 to about 2017 at the historic Parsons Street plant in Kalamazoo Michigan, the Heritage H555 evokes the higher end, groundbreaking thinline archtop electrics of the late 1950s. The Heritage Guitar Company was founded in 1985 by a number of former Gibson employees who chose not to relocate when Norlin, then Gibson’s parent company, moved operations to Nashville in 1984. They stayed behind, purchased the plant and began producing professional and higher grade instruments clearly influenced by their experiences.
