Here is a little bit of Canadian Luthiery history – a T.D. Hibbs SM-01 Selmer or ‘Maccaferri’, Gypsy Jazz style steel string guitar, quite possibly one of Hibb’s last, apparently built in late 2009. T.D. Hibbs was a woodworker, woodworking instructor and trained musician in the Cambridge, Ontario area.

MORE →The Ashley Leanne Classical guitar dates to 2015 and is in overall very good condition. It features mostly traditional Spanish classical construction, including a ‘slipper foot’ heel, where the heel block receives two cuts that the sides slot into; the back extends over the bottom of the heel forming a cap. This guitar also has a port on the bass upper side, and the heel construction can be clearly seen through the port.
