The Art & Lutherie Americana Faded Black is hand crafted in Quebec and pays tribute the century old classic Dreadnought body shape. This guitar features a solid cedar top and laminate wild cherry back and sides. The large body shape provides good volume for strumming and the cedar top adds lovely warmth to the tone. The satin faded black finish is sharp and eye catching with the white body binding.

Here we have a Waterloo WLSTR! Based on vintage Stella models, the WL STR adds an adjustable truss rod to the base WLS model. The L in the model name indicates that this is ladder braced, not X braced. The Waterloo WLSTR pairs a solid Spruce top with solid Cherry for the back and sides. Mahogany is used for the body blocks and neck, with Indian Rosewood for the 12-fret fingerboard and the head plate for the slotted peghead.

The Eastman ER2 El Rey is designed to produce a full archtop sound from a smaller, much lighter body – it is only 14 inches across, a bit bigger than a Gibson Les Paul. Otherwise it has a relatively typical archtop construction – solid, hand carved spruce top, solid and hand carved flame maple back, solid flame maple sides and neck, and ebony for the fingerboard, bridge base, and tailpiece cover.

The Gibson Firebird X was one of Gibson’s efforts to fully modernize the electric guitar. It starts with the basic ‘reverse’ offset chambered body built of Ash, and a set Maple neck with Maple fingerboard. The headstock is a more traditional Gibson layout rather than the ‘Fender-esque’ Firebird design. There are three new Firebird FBX mini-humbucker pickups, a tune-o-matic bridge with stop tailpiece, but from there everything is different.

Jon Kammerer has been building for over twenty years although he is not a household name. Aside from his innovative custom guitar work, his shop is also built to manufacture components, such as necks, for other builders.
