MORE →Here’s a National El Trovador Long Scale – 25.66 inch instead of 25 inches – resophonic guitar with a National Hot Plate pickup. Built on the single-cone resophonic body, the National El Trovador Long Scale uses Mahogany Laminates for the top, sides and back with solid Mahogany for the body blocks and neck. The 12-fret fingerboard is Ebony, and the slotted peghead has an Indian Rosewood head plate sporting the National shield logo decal.

MORE →This neatly constructed Dave Mills 5 string openback banjo uses a 12 inch pot with a spun-over Maple rim and Dobson-style tone ring, and a 3-piece Maple neck with an Ebony fingerboard that carries a frailing scoop. The Maple used on the rim and neck has a very convincing Cherry stain – so convincing that even our repair shop staff thought it was cherry from a short distance! The head uses a traditional ‘paddle’ outline.

MORE →Here we have the Fintan McEnroe Fin MC9 F-style mandolin from Fintan McEnroe, working in Toronto but originally from Ballyjamesduff, Co. Cavan, Ireland. The ‘9’ in the name refers to the mandolin serial number and production sequence; the Fin Mc 8 mandolin was sold recently. The Fintan McEnroe Fin MC9 is a traditional F-Style mandolin, with a carved Sitka Spruce top and Curly Maple for the sides, neck and carved back. The fingerboard and bridge are Ebony and the neck contains an adjustable truss rod. The body has double layer binding, and the inlays are a combination of Mother of Pearl and Abalone.
