❌SOLD❌ Gibson Les Paul Studio T New Old Stock Red, 2016

❌SOLD❌ Gibson Les Paul Studio T New Old Stock Red, 2016

This Gibson Les Paul Studio T, “new old stock” from 2017 features a fast playing slim taper neck and a modern weight relieved body for a lighter instrument and enhanced resonance. The two humbuckers used on the Gibson Les Paul Studio T are the classic 490R at the neck and 498T  in the bridge position. These are a bit hotter than some other Gibson humbuckers, and can really push the front end of an amp for searing crunch and sustain. The classic two volume and two tone control layout adds independent coil tapping for the pickups so you can get single coil style sounds for more tonal versatility.

NO LONGER AVAILABLE!!! William Laskin 7 String Acoustic Guitar, 1992

William Laskin is very well known for the creativity and quality of his inlay work. Here, a stag or buck – a male deer with antlers is depicted between frets 11 and 18, in a mixture of engraved woods and, it appears, ivory for the antlers. This guitar is old enough that small amounts of ivory were still used, and here appears in the nut, saddle, sliding nut components, and the inlaid antlers.

❌SOLD❌ Beltona T015 Tricone Round Neck Guitar Nickel, 1994

The Beltona T105 Tricone was one of the early products of Beltona, founded in the UK by Steve Evans and Bill Johnson in 1990. Respectively a luthier and engineer, Evans and Johnson first sought to build instruments for themselves that were, at the time, not readily available in the UK. In 1998, Beltona moved to New Zealand,

SOLD!!! Eastman T486B Thinline Archtop Electric Vintage Red

SOLD!!! Eastman T486B Thinline Archtop Electric Vintage Red

The Eastman T486B Thinline is an excellent take on the classic semi-hollow design introduced by Ted McCarty, president of Gibson, with the 1958 ES-335. Like most other versions of this design, the Eastman T486B uses pressed Maple Laminate for the top, back and sides, with a Maple block running down the center of the body. The top has a pair of F holes, and here they are bound. On the Eastman, the neck is Maple with a bound Ebony fingerboard sporting Split Block Parallelogram inlays (similar to an ES-345).

❌SOLD❌ Collings MT A Style Mandolin Satin Sunburst, 2019

❌SOLD❌ Collings MT A Style Mandolin Satin Sunburst, 2019

The Collings MT A Style mandolin is the entry point for Collings mandolins, and its lack of decoration doesn’t hide the quality of the instrument or the care with which it was built. The A Style mandolin appeared in the closing days of the 19th century as part of Orville Gibson’s revolutionary introduction of violin making principles to mandolin construction.   The results were such a dramatic improvement that the centuries old European bowl-back design almost died out in short order.
