One of the iconic rock basses, the Rickenbacker 4001 bass was built as a two-pickup version of the 4000 bass, adding a neck pickup to the distinctive Cresting Wave body design by German luthier and designer Roger Rossmeisl. Built from 1961 to somewhere between 1983 and 1985 when it was replaced by the 4003 bass, the Rickenbacker 4001 bass features a Maple body and through-body Maple neck, with a bound and finished Indian Rosewood fingerboard.

This very good, clean Rickenbacker 360/12 Thinline Electric 12-String dates to March of 2020 and sports a subtle modification introduced in 2004. Specifically, the tuning gear slots on the headstock are routed all the way through the head, allowing easier access during re-stringing.

Introduced in 1958 as a Roger Rossmeisl design and available in a variety of colours, the Rickenbacker 360 FireGlo is a distinctive instrument. FireGlo is Rickenbacker’s term for a cherry sunburst. This Rickenbacker 360 FireGlo was built during the first week of January 2013 and is in great overall shape, with only very light finish wear. Fret wear is very light. The heaviest wear is to the ‘Made in USA’ sticker on the upper pickguard!

The Rickenbacker 360/12 is an iconic guitar, and attracted top-flight attention from its first release. In fact the second example was gifted to George Harrison in 1964 by Francis C Hall, while the Beatles were in New York for their first US tour. The rest is history!

This spectacular and rare Rickenbacker 381 12V69 sporting a Fireglo finish is in near perfect condition! The Rickenbacker 381 12V69 reproduces the 1969 version of the 381/12, originally introduced in 1957 and built until 1963, and again from 1969 to 1974 with the modern two-level pickguard used here.

The Rickenbacker 1997SPC reproduces the three-pickup 1997 model built 1964 to 1967 for export to the United Kingdom, largely sold by Rose Morris and featuring a ‘traditional’ F hole rather than the Rickenbacker slash.
Based on the model 330 designed by expatriate German luthier Roger Rossmeisl and introduced in 1958 and similar to the 340, the original 1997 differed largely in having the narrow violin type F shaped soundhole and a third pickup.
