The Deering Golden Era 5-String Banjo draws from the heritage of traditional bluegrass banjos, and delivers the tone and look of the classic instruments. Built during 2004 at the Deering shop in Spring Valley, California, this Golden Era is in good condition and has been cleaned and set up at The Twelfth Fret by Anne Hartman. We’ve replaced the head and installed a Presto tailpiece. The dark stain shaded finish really sets off the flame Maple used for the resonator and neck.

High quality left handed guitars can be hard to come by, but here is a lovely 2009 model Suhr Pro Series S4 SSH with a flame maple top and cherry sunburst finish. John Suhr has been building guitars since the 1980s in New York and California. He’s built guitars and amplifiers for many major artists, and for a time was Senior Master Luthier at the Fender Custom Shop. Presently, his shop is in Lake Elsinore, California.

Built during 2016 at the Deering plant in Spring Valley California, this Deering Golden Era Custom 5-string banjo is in very good, clean condition with only the slightest wear. Based on the classic banjo designs of the 1930’s, these are great instruments with all the quality of tone, volume and punch one would expect from a professional grade banjo.

❌SOLD❌ Gibson L5CES Archtop Electric Guitar Demonstrator, Crimson 2013

The Gibson L-5CES is a big guitar, built for use on the largest bandstands. The 17 inch wide body features a carved Spruce top and a carved Flame Maple back. The sides are matching Flame Maple, and the neck is a five-piece design using three Flame Maple sections with a pair of Walnut strips between the joins. The bridge and bound fingerboard are Ebony.

❌SOLD❌ Heritage Golden Eagle Archtop Electric, 2004

Based on the larger classic archtop guitars, the Heritage Golden Eagle features a 17 inch wide body with carved Spruce top and carved Flame Maple back. The sides and neck are also Flame Maple, and the Ebony fingerboard is bound and has ‘cloud’ pattern mother of pearl position markers. The headstock carries a Mother of Pearl Eagle inlay, and the truss rod cover is the same material.

The Taylor 618e brings to mind the classic jumbo maple guitars used by top artists, and delivers a full, rich tone with lots of clarity and definition. Built using Taylor’s largest body shape like the jumbo Guilds and Gibson J-200 models, the 618e pairs a Sitka Spruce top with flamed Maple for the back, sides, and neck. Ebony is used for the bridge and bound fingerboard and headplate. The Taylor logo and fingerboard inlays are Mother of Pearl, and the linings, neck and tail blocks are Mahogany.
