The top is Red Cedar, carrying a Spalted Maple and Paua rosette and is paired with a Lutz Spruce lattice bracing.

Here is a fantastic Greenfield GF cutaway steel string guitar, built during May 2015 and signed inside the top by Michael Greenfield at his shop in Montreal, Quebec. The Greenfield GF uses the Florentine cutaway Grand Concert body design of the Greenfield G1, with an X-braced Sitka Spruce top, Indian Rosewood for the back and sides, Mahogany for the body blocks and neck, and Ebony for the headplate, asymmetrical bridge and bound fingerboard.
