Martin 00 16E Granadillo Steel String Guitar

Martin 00 16E Granadillo Steel String Guitar

The new Martin 00 16E model starts from the classic 00, or Grand Concert body size, but in place of Mahogany or Indian Rosewood for the back and sides uses Granadillo. Granadillo is also known as Mexican Rosewood or Platymiscium Yucatanum. In Central and South America, it’s often used under the name Macacauba for musical instruments. Its density and hardness help it deliver a bit more top end than true Rosewoods, but still has bottom end and warmth.

Here we’re looking at a Martin 00 18 standard series guitar, built during 2019 in Nazareth, Pennsylvania and in very good, clean condition. There’s virtually no wear of any kind.   For woods, this guitar uses Sitka Spruce for the top and Mahogany for the sides, back, body blocks and neck.  The head plate is Indian Rosewood and sports a gold Martin decal.   The bridge and bound fingerboard are Ebony.  The body finish is gloss, but the neck is a smooth satin.  The tuners are open-gear Grover Sta-Tite models.

❌SOLD❌ Martin 000-28 Modern Deluxe Steel String Guitar Natural

The new Martin 000-28 Modern Deluxe draws from the well of the 000 body design, and adds both new and old technologies, including natural glues, a titanium truss rod, and Martin’s VTS aging method. As on the classic 000-28, the pairing of a Sitka spruce top and Indian rosewood sides and back on the Martin 000-28 Modern Deluxe produces a rich and full-bodied tone with plenty of complex overtones.
