❌SOLD❌ Hill Torres 1856 640mm Classical Guitar Natural, 2008

The Hill Torres 1856 classical guitar is a high quality version of one of the seminal classical guitars. It’s not strictly a reproduction, given the use of modern parts and even a truss rod! Antonio de Torres was born on 13 June 1817 in Almería, Andalucía, At 12 in 1829 he began an apprenticeship to a carpenter. In 1833 he was conscripted into an army, but was rejected for medical reasons.

Fender Vintera ’60s Jazz Bass Sunburst

Fender Vintera '60s Jazz Bass Sunburst

The Fender Vintera 60’s Jazz bass is loaded with features from Fenders Golden era at a more affordable price point. This bass features a mid 60’s C shaped neck carve and a 7.25” radius. The maple neck has a Pau Ferro fretboard and vintage sized frets. The re-voiced 60’s single coil pickups have more of that authentic grit and growl that made the Jazz bass a legend. The open gear tuners, vintage saddles and three tone sunburst finish top really round out the classic aesthetic on this bass.

Built from 1990 into 2014, the Gibson Flying V 67 Reissue had several names as it turned into a regular production model. ❌SOLD❌ Gibson Dove Natural Top Square Shoulder Dreadnought, 1975

❌SOLD❌ Gibson Dove Natural Top Square Shoulder Dreadnought, 1975

In 1963 the Gibson Dove Natural Top was second from the top of the Gibson catalog, with a square shouldered dreadnought body and distinctive hand painted and inlaid pickguard.    The Dove first appeared in 1962 with a cherry sunburst finish. Until the 1960 Hummingbird, Gibson dreadnought acoustics used a round or ‘slope’ shouldered design, differentiating it from the square-shouldered Martin design. The classic J-45 has been a prime example of the slope shoulder, though it too shifted to square-shouldered in 1968 (and was discontinued in 1982; when reintroduced in 1984 it was again slope-shouldered).

❌SOLD❌ Gibson Memphis ES330 VOS Sunburst, 2013

❌SOLD❌ Gibson Memphis ES330 VOS Sunburst, 2013

The Gibson Memphis ES330 VOS model is now discontinued, along with the Memphis plant, but is a great re-creation of a late 1950’s ES-330. Introduced in 1959, the ES-330 took visual cues from the new and very successful ES-335, but is uses a fully hollow body without a solid center block. A pair of under-wound P-90s provide great tone. Until about 1963, the ES330 and its cousin the Epiphone Casino set the neck joint at the 16th fret but subsequently the joint was shifted to the 19th fret, allowing easier access to higher frets.
