The Martin D28 Marquis, here with Adirondack Spruce top, was the top shelf of the Style 28 Dreadnought line, re-creating historic designs with premium materials. The Marquis and Golden Era models went out of production in 2017, and were replaced with the Authentic series. Here we’re looking at a Martin D28 Marquis, built during 2014 at the Martin plant in Nazareth, Pennsylvania.

Martin 000-13E Road Series Steel String Guitar

Martin 000-13E Road Series Steel String Guitar

Here is a new Martin 000-13E Road Series Steel String Guitar, which not only uses a number of sustainable, non-traditional woods, but is also built at Martin’s plant in Navojoa, Sonora Mexico. The Martin Road Series is aimed to be a solid player’s guitar loaded with classic Martin DNA at an affordable price point. The Martin 000-13E is an auditorium sized guitar with a shorter scale length compared to the OM models. This OOO body shape is very comfortable for many players as it features a smaller lower bout and curvy waist. The auditorium body size works really well for fingerstyle playing and light to medium strumming.

❌SOLD❌ C. F. Martin 00018 Steel String Guitar, 2017

The very first C. F. Martin 00018 steel string guitar appeared in 1906 with a Maple body, then with Rosewood until 1917, and finally built using Mahogany for the body in small numbers until 1926, when 224 were sold. Annual production stayed in the mid-hundreds until 1972, when 650 were built. It has been in production since, with the exception of 1932 and 1933, when none were built. The C. F. Martin 00018 string guitar is closely related to the OM or Orchestra Model, introduced in 1930.

❌SOLD❌ Martin D18 Custom Shop Natural, 2010

❌SOLD❌ Martin D18 Custom Shop Natural, 2010

This Martin D18 Custom Shop is closely based on a classic, and has been one of the most popular guitar designs since its mass market introduction in the early 1930’s. The basic Dreadnought design itself dates from mid 1910’s models built for the Oliver Ditson company. Like many guitar companies, the Martin Custom Shop allows customers to specify particular features, tailoring the instrument to their own needs. Here, this Martin D18 Custom Shop guitar was ordered with just a few modifications – a slightly narrower nut and some D28 appointments, particularly the rosette.
