❌SOLD❌ Gretsch Chet Atkins Nashville 6120 Orange, 1967

The Gretsch Chet Atkins Nashville appeared in 1964, identical to the previous year’s 6120 model in almost every respect aside from the name. Introduced in 1954 as a full-bodied, single cutaway archtop equipped with DeArmond Dynasonic single coil pickups until the new humbucking Filter ‘Tron pickups appeared in 1958, in the early 1960s the Gretsch 6120 underwent a major change.

❌SOLD❌ Gibson Marauder Solidbody Sunburst, 1975

❌SOLD❌ Gibson Marauder Solidbody Sunburst, 1975

The Gibson Marauder was designed by Bill Lawrence and built from 1975 to 1980, and over time a total of 7,112 were built including the Marauder Custom. This Gibson Marauder example dates to 1975 and was built at the Gibson Nashville plant. It is in good condition and plays well, though the pickups are not original and a full size humbucker has been installed in the bridge position, with the pickguard cut to fit. The finish otherwise is in good shape with a number of small dents and dings from honest use. The neck finish is worn from frets 2 to 7 from playing in that area. Fret wear is moderate.

❌SOLD❌ Gibson Custom CS356 Thinline Faded Cherry, 2008

❌SOLD❌ Gibson Custom CS356 Thinline Faded Cherry, 2008

The Gibson Custom CS356 was the top level version of the Gibson Custom CS336, and was built from 2002 to 2008. Like the CS-336, it was based on a carved Solid Figured Maple top on a chambered single-piece block of Mahogany, routed out to provide the sides, back, center block and tone chambers. Based on its 5-digit serial number with an 8 as its first digit, this example dates to 2008 and as such would be one of the last built.  It has very little wear,  and is in great condition with only a few minor bumps.

❌SOLD❌ Gibson Les Paul Standard Amber Burst, 2005

Originally produced for only the years 1958 to 1960, the Gibson Les Paul Standard overcame its lack of commercial success and became one of the influential guitars ever. The Les Paul Standard appeared in 1958 as a ‘new’ version of the Les Paul model and carried Gibson’s new hum-bucking pickups designed by Seth Lover, and was adorned with a sunburst finish showing off what was normally a nicely figured Maple cap.
