SOLD Taylor 517e Builder's Edition Wild Honey Burst

The Taylor 517e Builder’s Edition uses of the company’s newest body shapes, the Grand Pacific. This is a round shoulder dreadnought design, paired with Taylor’s new V class bracing system. This marks a new sound for Taylor guitars inspired by classic acoustic guitar recordings and the sonic improvements of their V class bracing. The tone is warm with powerful clear bass and round full notes that smoothly blend together to create a unified harmonic voice.

❌SOLD❌ Taylor 514ce Cedar and Mahogany Steel String, 2016

❌SOLD❌ Taylor 514ce Cedar and Mahogany Steel String, 2016

The Taylor 514ce Cedar and Mahogany steel string guitar has been in Taylor’s line since its introduction in 1998.  Using a Grand Auditorium body,  its pairing of a Western Red Cedar top with Central American Mahogany make it a great choice for fingerstylists. Red Cedar is used on many classical guitars due to its warmth and responsiveness to the dynamic nuances of fingerstyle playing, and is tonally balanced by the articulation, sparkle and midrange presence of the Mahogany sides and back.   With playing,  Cedar also develops its voice fairly quickly compared to Spruce.

❌SOLD❌ William Laskin Steel String Guitar Brazilian, 2005

This William Laskin Steel String was built at Laskin’s shop in Toronto, Ontario during 2005, and features a Red Cedar top and quite a dark set of Brazilian Rosewood for the back and sides. The body blocks and neck are Mahogany, with Ebony used for the head plate, fingerboard bridge and binding. The rosette has a ring of Abalone, but otherwise this guitar is quite simply but elegantly adorned;  a line of purfling follows the complete top including around the arm-rest and around the fingerboard tag.
