Thompson 00 Redwood and Rosewood Natural, 1996

This lovely Thompson 00 Redwood and Rosewood guitar was built around 1996 by Ted Thompson in his one-person shop in beautiful Vernon, located in British Columbia’s Okanagan region. Ted Thompson has been building since 1979 in the Vernon area. His guitars are exceptionally well and cleanly built and have clear, crisp and well articulated sounds with plenty of harmonic content. These are wonderful instruments for fingerstyle.

❌SOLD❌ Lawrence Nyberg Cittern Black Walnut and Redwood, 2018

This lovely Lawrence Nyberg Cittern pairs a Redwood top and Black Walnut for the sides, back, and back strap (an extra layer on the back of the head). The neck is Mahogany, with Ebony used for the fingerboard and its binding, bridge, and the head plate. A K&K pickup is installed and connected to and end pin jack. Unusually for an instrument of this type, a steel string guitar-style ebony pin bridge is used rather than a floating bridge with an additional tailpiece.

The side rims are Maple, with Wenge, Ebony and Spanish Cedar for the neck joint. The neck itself is birds-eye maple with a Padouk center strip and Ebony for the fingerboard.
