❌SOLD❌ Gibson Flying V 2017 T Ebony NOS

Originally released in 1958 the Flying V introduced a radical and futuristic body shape which became an iconic staple of rock and roll and heavy metal! The Gibson Flying V 2017 T pays tribute to design features that became common place through the 70’s while using alternate woods such as Grenadillo for the fretboard. The Gibson Flying V 2017 T uses a large double wing mahogany body attached to a slim taper mahogany neck, which is very fast playing with the ultimate access to the upper frets due to the body design. There is really no body mass getting in the way of your hand when reaching for the highest notes.

❌SOLD❌ Gibson Les Paul Custom 20th Anniversary Sunburst, 1974

❌SOLD❌ Gibson Les Paul Custom 20th Anniversary Sunburst, 1974

Built during 1974 in Kalamazoo Michigan, this Gibson Les Paul Custom 20th Anniversary sports a Sunburst finish and gold plated hardware. As a commemorative model, the 15th fret mother of pearl block position marker is engraved with ’20th Anniversary’. This Gibson Les Paul Custom 20th Anniversary is in overall good but not entirely original condition. The nitrocellulose lacquer sunburst finish is in decent condition, as expected for a 47 year old guitar that’s been used as expected. There is wear to the finish along the edges of the fingerboard and on the neck where it’s rested on supports in the case.

❌SOLD❌ La Esperanza Classe 1000 Concert Classical Guitar, 1979

❌SOLD❌ La Esperanza Classe 1000 Concert Classical Guitar, 1979

Here we have a nicely kept La Esperanza Classe 1000 classical guitar built during 1979 in the shop of Masaru Matano or his successors in Kurume, Japan. Matano’s shop built the La Esperanza Classe 1000 and lower priced Classe 600 for sale for the company name “Ongaku Geijutsusha Co” and these models were based on Ramirez instruments. The Classe 1000 features a Red Cedar top and double layer Rosewood sides and back, which is not quite the same as laminated. Here, the two layers are of Brazilian Rosewood and are used to reduce overtones and ‘wolf’ tones when the guitar is played loudly.

❌SOLD❌ Bourgeois Signature D Madagascar and Adirondack Natural, 2009

Drawing from the iconic and sought after pre-war Dreadnoughts, the Bourgeois Signature D Madagascar serves up a rich combination of tone, presence and volume. Madagascar Rosewood is considered a visual and tonal equivalent to Brazilian Rosewood, though with a bit less orange to the colour. On this Bourgeois Signature D, it’s paired with Adirondack Spruce, as used on most of the best pre-WW2 steel string guitars.

❌SOLD❌ Gibson Les Paul Melody Maker Manhattan Midnight, 2014

❌SOLD❌ Gibson Les Paul Melody Maker Manhattan Midnight, 2014

The Gibson Les Paul Melody Maker appeared in 2014 as a 120th Anniversary model – a US made, reasonably priced high quality carved-top guitar with a solid history behind the names. The Melody Maker appeared in 1959 and built until 1971 as an entry level, thin slab Mahogany bodied single cutaway model, with one or two single coil pickups and a narrow headstock. The neck was Mahogany with a Rosewood fingerboard. For 1961, a second cutaway was added, but it wasn’t until 1967 that the Melody Maker got the ‘SG’ body shape.
