The Ramirez Conservatorio Spruce Top classical guitar is near the top of the semi-professional line for Ramirez, with a unique violin-type approach to the top and back attachment, without the use of linings! It is rare for us to see a used Ramirez Conservatorio Spruce Top model, and we’re pleased to offer it at a significant reduction from its original price, as described in our original posting on this model.
Semi-Professional
Here’s something unusual – a Ramirez Conservatorio Cedar top classical guitar, with ‘Fiddle Edge’ construction, Red Cedar top, Indian Rosewood for the back and sides, and SPR style bracing. The Ramirez Conservatorio Cedar Top Concert Classical guitar represents a major development in classical guitar design from Amalia Ramírez, with unique use of ‘fiddle edge’ construction. The Conservatorio uses the same advanced 8 fan brace pattern as the SPR but a unique system for gluing the top and backs to the rims and no internal linings are used!

MORE →The Ramirez SP, now the Semi-Professional model, bridges the ‘Estudio’ and ‘Handcraft’ classical guitars and is intended for the accomplished student player about to move to professional status. Like other ‘Estudio’ models, the Semi-Professional is partly built in the city of Madrid at the Ramirez shop – it’s worth noting that Madrid prohibits spray finishing and so that type of finishing is done at shops outside the city limits.
