❌SOLD❌ Gretsch Sparkle Jet G6129T with Bigsby Silver Sparkle, 2007

❌SOLD❌ Gretsch Sparkle Jet G6129T with Bigsby Silver Sparkle, 2007

Guitar makers and players sometimes don’t want to go for an understated approach, and the Gretsch Sparkle Jet G6129T is a case in point. Featuring a wildly metallic sparkle layer on top of chambered, single cut Mahogany body with Maple laminate top, the Sparkle Jet is anything but subtle. The Gretsch Jet models were introduced in 1955 as a response to the Gibson Les Paul. At the time, Gretsch was resistant to solidbody designs and so the Jet is heavily chambered. The Mahogany back has spaces routed into it, and a Maple laminate top is applied.

❌SOLD❌ Valley Arts Brent Mason Signature Custom Pro Grey, 2005

❌SOLD❌ Valley Arts Brent Mason Signature Custom Pro Grey, 2005

The Valley Arts Brent Mason Signature Custom Pro is based on Mason’s 1968 Fender Telecaster, modified over the years to meet the requirements of a top session player. Introduced in 2004, the Brent Mason model was built for only a few years, after Valley Arts had been purchased by Gibson with a small retail and construction space in Nashville. However, by 2006 that shop closed and in 2012 Mike McGuire, who had founded Valley Arts in 1975 and ultimately ran Gibson Custom, retired.

SALE!!! Ibanez AZ2202A Prestige Solidbody Electric Tri Fade Burst

SALE!!! Ibanez AZ2202A Prestige Solidbody Electric Tri Fade Burst

The Ibanez AZ220A shares many features from the rest of the AZ line, but with two main differences. Most of the AZ line features an alder body but the AZ2202A has an ash body. Ash is a slightly heavier weight wood with a great balance of brightness and warmth and was used on many of the revered Fender guitars from the 1950’s to today.  The other main difference on the Ibanez AZ2202A model is that the roasted maple neck has 22 frets rather then 24.

SOLD!!! Eastman T486B Thinline Archtop Electric Vintage Red

SOLD!!! Eastman T486B Thinline Archtop Electric Vintage Red

The Eastman T486B Thinline is an excellent take on the classic semi-hollow design introduced by Ted McCarty, president of Gibson, with the 1958 ES-335. Like most other versions of this design, the Eastman T486B uses pressed Maple Laminate for the top, back and sides, with a Maple block running down the center of the body. The top has a pair of F holes, and here they are bound. On the Eastman, the neck is Maple with a bound Ebony fingerboard sporting Split Block Parallelogram inlays (similar to an ES-345).
