Gibson Explorer Vintage White, 2008

The Gibson Explorer has been a more or less regular production model since then in a number of variations, mostly finding a home in harder rock bands; it’s seldom seen on Country stages. This Gibson Explorer in Vintage White has a simple construction – Mahogany for the body and neck, and Ebony for the fingerboard. 496R and 498T pickups are installed and controlled by a pickup selector, individual volume and a master tone control.

Duesenberg Starplayer Special Creme and Black, 2002

Introduced in 2002, the Duesenberg Starplayer Special uses the classic bolt-on design, with a full 25.5 inch scale maple neck on and alder body with humbucking pickups. The neck sports an Indian Rosewood fingerboard, with Mother of Pearl dot inlays. It is a straightforward guitar, delivering exactly what it advertises. This early Duesenberg Starplayer Special, built during 2002 – the first year of production – is in very clean, all original condition. It plays very well and has just the slightest wear, even to the frets. The original Duesenberg hard shell case is included.

Warwick Streamer Pro M 5-String Bass, 1999

The Warwick Streamer Pro M bass is a bolt-on design, pairing Quilted Maple with Swamp Ash for the body, and Ovangkol and Wenge for the neck. Here we have a 5-string version of the Warwick Streamer Pro, built during 1999 at the Warwick shop in Markneukirchen, Saxony – where Framus guitars are also now produced.

Gibson Modern Double Cut Standard Heritage Cherry Burst, 2018

This new model Gibson Modern Double Cut Standard, draws from the earlier double cut designs that other brands successfully copied – is built at the Gibson shop in Nashville, Tennessee. The traditional elements are all here – the mahogany body and neck, the body with a carved figured maple cap, the neck with a bound rosewood fingerboard and pearloid trapezoidal markers, ’57 Classic humbucking pickups with tune-o-matic bridge and stop tailpiece, and Grover Roto-Matic tuners.

Fender Jaguar Sunburst, 1965

Here, we have a very clean condition, 3-tone sunburst Fender Jaguar built during 1965. The neck stamp reads June of 1965, and the pot codes indicate the 19th week of 1965 – May 10 to 16th. This places production to a few months after the purchase of Fender by CBS. Until recently, it had been held by its original purchaser and was well cared for.
