MORE →The Rickenbacher Electro Model B ES was not the first electric guitar, as it’s based on a Hawaiian version, but it is one of the very first Electric Spanish guitars produced for retail sale. In terms of construction and hardware, these are identical to the much more expensive ‘Figured Top’ models; the difference is the figuring on the Maple laminates used for the top, sides and back.
