Introduced in 2004, the Brent Mason model was built for only a few years, after Valley Arts had been purchased by Gibson with a small retail and construction space in Nashville.

MORE →It’s rare to see one of these available for sale – a Terry McInturff Taurus in Translucent Purple finish, built during 2001 with an AA Quilted Maple top. The McInturff Taurus is a single-cutaway solidbody electric using the proven formula of a Maple cap on a Mahogany body, with Mahogany for the neck and Indian Rosewood for the fingerboard. On the Taurus, the Maple cap is highly figured, AA Quilted Maple. A mixture of Abalone and Mother of Pearl is used for the inlay set.

Introduced in 1954 as a Chet Atkins model, the Gretsch 6120 featured a fully hollow, 16 inch wide and 2 7/8 inch deep Maple Laminate body with bound F holes, tone bar / sound post bracing and a Maple neck with Rosewood or Ebony fingerboard and bridge base.
