This wonderful guitar reflects all the features and quality of Huss & Dalton instruments. Based on the Traditional Orchestra Model or OM design that dates to the late 1920s and using Rosewood for the sides and back, this TOM R Custom also sports a ‘Thermo-Cured’ Adirondack Red Spruce top with Herringbone purfling and a vintage-amber tint.

Here’s a treat – a brand new Waterloo WL 14 X braced small body guitar, built by Collings as part of the ‘Retro’ Waterloo line, honoring the influential guitars of the 1930s and 1940s. The Waterloo WL 14 is the flagship model of the Waterloo guitar line and the inspiration that started it all. Keeping true to the design and style of the era, the WL-14 is available in “ladder” bracing (L) as well as “X” bracing (X).

Here we have a Ramirez 1a Long Scale classical guitar built during 1967, during the ‘golden era’ of Jose Ramirez III’s leadership of the Ramirez workshop at Concepcion Jeronima No. 2 in Madrid, Spain. This well-used instrument features a long scale of 664mm or 26.14 inches, intended to provide increased volume and projection for the professional concert performer. With Jose Ramirez III leading the workshop, this Ramirez 1a Long Scale has the initials CLL on the slipper foot. Its construction defines the tradition that countless other builders follow, with the slipper foot join integrating the sides and neck for maximum resonance and response.

The Bart Reiter Special Open Back Banjo is hand built in Reiter’s shop in East Lansing, Michigan, USA and are well known for their quality and tone. Here we’re looking at a Bart Reiter Special banjo, built during 2008 and featuring local Maple for the neck and rim, with Indian Rosewood used to cap the heel and the bottom of the rim. The fingerboard and head plate are Ebony, with tasteful Star and Dot Mother of Pearl inlay set on the head plate and fingerboard.

The Waterloo Jumbo King looks back to the larger guitars of the American 1940’s, delivering more volume and power for larger audiences and radio broadcasts. Using an X-braced Sitka Spruce top paired with Indian Rosewood for the sides, back and fingerboard, the Waterloo Jumbo King WL-JK IR has a 15.75 inch body width and 5 inch depth. The neck is Mahogany, the Rosewood fingerboard unbound, and the bridge is Ebony with a drop-in bone saddle.

Based on the Centenario model that commemorated the hundredth anniversary of Ramirez family guitar building, the Elite uses the same quality of materials and ornamentation. As with many other models, the Ramirez Elite is offered with either a German Spruce (A) or Red Cedar top paired with Madagascar Rosewood for the sides, back, head plate and bridge.
