❌SOLD❌ Fender 60th Anniversary Telecaster Blonde, 2011

The Fender 60th Anniversary Telecaster hews closely to the original 1951 design but also brings in meaningful modern improvements. The subtle nature of those improvements gives credit to the genius of Leo Fender’s creation; the most visible changes are a six-saddle bridge, modern staggered-post tuners, micro-tilt RW/RP pickups, medium-high fret wire and a ‘Delta Tone’ no-load tone control circuit.

❌SOLD❌ Martin 0-18 Steel String Guitar Natural, 1965

❌SOLD❌ Martin 0-18 Steel String Guitar Natural, 1965

Introduced in 1898, discontinued in 1996 and reissued in 2017, the Martin 0-18 is one of the oldest, longest produced guitar designs. It hasn’t changed much over the decades. In 1934 the most notable change occurred with the shift to the 14-fret neck, following the lead of the then-recently introduced OM or Orchestra Model. The next change was in 1947 with the use of Rosewood instead of Ebony for the fingerboard and bridge.

❌SOLD❌ Martin D-35 Dreadnought Steel String Guitar Natural, 1973

❌SOLD❌ Martin D-35 Dreadnought Steel String Guitar Natural, 1973

The Martin D-35 Dreadnought first appeared in 1965, partly as a way to use the remaining stock of Brazilian Rosewood sections that were too small for a two-piece back. Drawing from the very successful D bodied Dreadnought, the Martin D-35 was placed between the venerable D-28 and more expensively decorated D-41 and D-45 models.

❌SOLD❌ Gibson Les Paul TV Special, 1958

❌SOLD❌ Gibson Les Paul TV Special, 1958

The Gibson  Les Paul TV Special was introduced in 1955 as a midway point between the also newly introduced Les Paul Junior and the Les Paul itself. Like the Junior, the Special used Honduran Mahogany for the body – no carved Maple cap like the Les Paul – and the neck, and Rosewood for the fingerboard. The Special, however, had two P-90 pickups and a bound fingerboard; at the time, ‘Rosewood’ meant Brazilian Rosewood.
