Eastman T186MX Thinline Hollowbody Classic Sunburst, 2011

The Eastman company builds more arched top instruments than anyone else, and they apply their expertise to thinline archtop electrics like the Eastman T186MX. Laskin Cedar Top Steel String Guitar, 1977

Laskin Cedar Top Steel String Guitar, 1977

It’s perhaps an odd thing, but guitars from very highly skilled builders, like this William Laskin Cedar Top Steel String are often in pristine condition and this can lead the builder to wonder if the owner doesn’t like them enough to play them. This Laskin Cedar Top Steel String was built, signed and dated during 1977 at Laskin’s Toronto shop and has a serial number, 250477, stamped on the neck block. The top is Red Cedar, with Indian Rosewood for the sides, back, and head plate. The body blocks and neck are Mahogany, with Ebony used for the fingerboard and bridge.

SOLD!‼ Gibson Firebird Cherry, 2019 NOS

Built at the Gibson Nashville plant, the new Gibson Firebird closely – but not entirely – follows the original construction concepts of the first Firebirds. Most importantly, this is a neck-through design, with the neck and the body built up of a total of five pieces of Mahogany over their length, and four Walnut strips bracketing the center sections. This multi-piece construction is used to provide extra stability over the long section.
