| Here is a nice 1993 Marc Beneteau Steel String Acoustic Guitar. It sounds great, and is in good playing condition; over the years it’s had a treble side repair and partial refinish. There are a few small dings on the top; the guitar has been played.
Marc Beneteau has built acoustic guitars since 1974, and now works out of his shop in St. Thomas, Ontario. With a cedar top, mahogany for the back, sides and neck and Pau Ferro for the fingerboard, this Marc Beneteau Steel String guitar has a lovely, full and sparkling tone. |

| Neck | Mahogany neck with unbound Pau Ferro fingerboard and headplate. The neck is attached using a bolt and tenon joint; this will make the inevitable neck reset a much easier task. |
| Frets | Original frets with some wear. There is lots of playing left in them. |
| Body | Jumbo style body with cedar top, mahogany sides and three-piece mahogany back. The treble side has a small oval mahogany patch from the repair mentioned under the ‘Finish’ section. Pau Ferro bridge with bone saddle. |
| Finish | Clear Satin lacquer finish on body, clear gloss lacquer on the neck. The treble side has been refinished – at some point, the side was damaged and patched, and rather than do a spot touchup, the side from the tailblock to heel was refinished. |
| Hardware/electronics | Chrome Gotoh tuning machines, bone nut and saddle, undersaddle pickup installed with endpin jack. |
| Playability/Action | This guitar plays very well and comfortably. |
