Ernie Ball Music Man builds some of the most popular basses – as with this Sterling 5, focusing on meeting the needs of the working musician.
Starting with the bass-standard long 34 inch scale and a slightly smaller body, the Ernie Ball Music Man Sterling 5 includes a hum cancelling phantom coil and active circuitry to provide a quiet, versatile response. The hardware is gold plated. The body is ash and carries a gloss, metallic brown finish and the neck is maple with an oil finish.
This Sterling 5 dates to the first year of Ernie Ball Music Man Sterling production – 2008. It’s in very good condition with very light wear and only minor tarnish on the gold plating.
