NO LONGER AVAILABLE!!! 2011 Robert Conti Equity Thinline Archtop Guitar

Instrument Categories: , , ,

Robert Conti is a well known American jazz guitarist and educator, and since 2009 has had a line of affordable archtop thinline guitars, built by Peerless and other quality guitar makers. The current ‘Heirloom’ model is a replacement for the Conti Equity model seen here, which was built from 2009 to 2015.

The Robert Conti Equity is a 17 inch wide, thinline hollowbody archtop guitar with a Venetian cutaway, two mini ‘New Yorker’ style humbucking pickups and a 24-fret neck. The top is solid Spruce, the sides back and neck are Maple and the fingerboard, tailpiece and pickguard are ebony. Both the top and back are braced with Spruce, and there’s a soundpost under the bridge. This example dates to 2011 and is very nice condition overall, with a small crack in the tailpiece. It plays very well and is presently strung with flatwounds – a practical effect of that is that fretwear is minor. The tuners are gold-plated Grover Imperial models with the deco stairstep buttons. A gig bag is included.
