❌SOLD❌ Bluesman Nomad Doublecut TV Finish, 2016

Built by the Bluesman Vintage Guitars custom shop in Spring Hill – just south of Nashville – the Bluesman Nomad Double Cut recalls the iconic TV Yellow Les Paul Specials of the 1950s.

The Bluesman Nomad construction concept is simple – a Mahogany slab body is paired with a Mahogany set neck, and a Rosewood fingerboard is installed. A single P-90 pickup is placed at the bridge, and a volume and tone control finish the electronics. Kluson Deluxe tuners round off the hardware. Originally, a simple stop-bar tailpiece was installed, but here a modern version with adjustable saddles is used.

The TV finish was a special adaptation for the era of black and white television. Makers found that fancy or gloss finishes weren’t clearly visible on camera or screens, so a special off-white colour was developed that was very camera friendly.

This Bluesman Nomad is in the double-cut format, and its finish has been moderately ‘reliced’ to simulate some decades of use. Not to the frets, however! This guitar looks old, but plays well and is ready to go.

A light weight but rigid foam case with shoulder straps is included.
