The Collings SoCo LC draws from the classic thinline archtop electric designs pioneered by Gibson in the late 1950s, proven through decades of professional use.
This Collings SoCo LC example dates to 2015 and is in very clean condition. It features a single cutaway Flame Maple laminate construction body, with a solid Maple center block, Mahogany for the neck and a bound, 12 inch radius Indian Rosewood fingerboard. Hardware is both straightforward and top quality, with Collings-branded Gotoh tuners in chrome with creme buttons, a Kluson ABR bridge and Stop Tailpiece set, and low-wind Lollar Imperial humbucker pickups with individual volume and tone controls and a 3-way selector switch.
Wear is very light throughout, with the finish in very good condition, light wear to the plating on the bass end of the bridge where the player’s hand would rest, and light fret wear.
The original Collings hard shell case by Ameritage is included.
