By Ernie Ball Music Man – the EBMM Classic Stingray 4 Bass hearkens back to early Stingray models, but with improvements that help keep it one of the best basses on the market.

Here we’re looking at an EBMM Classic Stingray 4 bass in very nice condition. Its serial number dates it to March 23rd, 2010, and it was built at the Ernie Ball Music Man plant in San Luis Obispo, California. The body is Ash, and the neck is Maple; the two are connected with a long six-bolt neck joint for rock-solid stability. Controls are simple yet versatile, with an active two band EQ powered by a single standard 9-volt battery.

This EBMM Classic Stingray 4 is in great shape with little wear. The finish has little to no play wear or scuffing, and the pickguard shows a few fingermarks. It’s strung with round wounds, but fret wear is minimal, indicating that it has not been played much at all.

The original hard shell case is included.

Here’s what Ernie Ball Music Man has to say about the EBMM Classic Stingray 4 Bass:

“The Classic Stingray pays tribute to the original Music Man designs from the mid to late 1970’s with added modern refinements.

A string through body bridge, mute kit, small profile nickel frets and a curvy 7.5″ radius neck are key specifications that harken back to the early days of Music Man production.

A modern six bolt neck attachment and an easy access truss rod adjustment wheel ensure solid construction with no hassle adjustments. The classic tone remains true to the original with an ash body, 2 band EQ and a standard Music Man Alnico pickup.”
