Fender 67 Tele Closet Classic Black, 2005

Brand:

Instrument Categories: , ,

This Fender 67 Tele Closet Classic sports a period correct Rosewood fingerboard and was built during April 2005 in Corona, California. Built to original 1967 specs pairing an Ash body with an Indian Rosewood Maple neck, this guitar also includes all original style hardware – the Schaller made F-stamped tuners, Ashtray style bridge and custom shop pickups. The pickguard is a white three-layer model.

Intended to be like a ‘New Old Stock’ presentation, the Fender 67 Tele Closet Classic looks to be in almost unused condition. There is very light fret wear. It does show what would be natural checking to the body finish.

The original G&G branded black rectangular hard shell case is included and contains all the case candy, strap, Certificate of Authenticity, hang tags, ashtray bridge cover and cloth.

More From Fender About The Closet Classic Series:

“Well taken care of and religiously polished throughout the years. The owner of this guitar took pride in keeping it clean and shiny. Over time the finish started showing age and like a fine wine it evolved into something complex and refined. Moderate finish checking, oxidation of hardware, and mild discoloration of parts give this finish its distinct look and feel.”
