Instrument Categories: , ,

Fylde guitars are built in the Lake District of England, specifically in Penrith, Cumbria, in a small shop run by Roger Bucknall. The Fylde Falstaff is among variety of models offered.

The Fylde Falstaff is based around a large, deep body intended to provide a lot of power and projection for drop tunings. It is built with an Englemann spruce top, Indian rosewood for the three-piece back and sides, mahogany for the neck and ebony for the fingerboard, bridge and headplate. The tuners are Gotoh, gold plated with ebony buttons.

This Fylde Falstaff is in good condition with a few small marks. It plays very well and has a quite clear, well articulated voice that presents the full tonal range in an unambiguous manner. In other words, it has a wonderful, rich sound ideal for precise fingerstyle playing.

A Hiscox LiteFlite case is included.
