Here is a rare and wonderful Gibson F-5L Fern Mandolins! These mandolins are a welcome sight, not just because they are great instruments but also because they mean that Gibson’s Nashville production lines are recovering from the devastating floods of 2010.
The Gibson F-5L Fern mandolin is a classic, with a carved spruce top, carved flame maple back, sides and neck, elegant fern-style inlays on the ebony headplate, and a beautiful gloss nitrocellulose lacquer sunburst finish.
This mandolin comes with a rectangular hardshell case.
