❌SOLD❌ Gibson Les Paul Standard Heritage Burst, 2012

Instrument Categories: , , ,

One of the workhorse guitars for almost all genres, the Gibson Les Paul Standard can also be spectacularly attractive in a combination of bookmatched flame maple and sunburst.

This guitar and example of this effect, in a Les Paul Standard dating to February 20 2012 and built at the Gibson Nashville plant. The arched top, flame maple, and heritage burst finish are a stunning combination. This is what comes to mind when one thinks,  “Les Paul Standard”.

As a 2012 model, this guitar has a few features that didn’t appear on the original models. It is chambered for weight relief, and it is down to a comfortably svelte 7.7 pounds. Locking Grover Roto-Matic gears make fast string changes a breeze, and these have the ‘tulip’ style buttons that visually suggest the original Kluson models. The bridge is a TonePros unit, very sturdy and well plated. A Neutrik locking output jack securely keeps the cord in place. The Gibson logo is in Mother of Pearl.,

As a modification to the factory original equipment, the pickups have been swapped for DiMarzio PAF coverless models.

It is in very clean condition with very little wear. It plays well, it’s very comfortable, and it sounds great. And visually, it has it all.

The original Gibson hard shell case, black with white interior, is included.
