This meticulously preserved instrument retains all of its original components, while introducing noteworthy improvements. These upgrades encompass a set of ‘57 Classic pickups, a comprehensive wiring harness meticulously crafted by Martin Six String Customs, embracing a 50’s style wiring design with a robust 20AWG bus ground wire, CTS audio taper pots, Sprague Bumblebee capacitors, and a Switchcraft switch. In addition, the guitar now features a Faber bridge and tailpiece, further enhancing its performance and aesthetics.
With all of these updates, an already good Gibson Les Paul Standard is even better! Fret wear is light, and this guitar plays well and cleanly with a resonant tone. The back has a few small dents and dings from real use.
