Here is a classic Wine Red Gibson Les Paul Standard built during June of 1995, in good clean original condition with no weight relief and only minor wear.

Following the design of the late 1950’s models, the 1995 Gibson Les Paul Standard features a carved Maple cap on a solid Mahogany body, with Mahogany for the back and Indian Rosewood for the fingerboard.

Gibson Deluxe tuners, in the Kluson style with plastic Keystone buttons are at the head, giving a traditional appearance and also reducing headstock weight compared to Grover Roto-Matics. On the body, there’s a stop bar tailpiece, and the ‘Nashville’ style tune-o-matic bridge. That bridge design is a definite improvement over the ABR-1, which has a saddle retainer wire that tends to rattle. For electronics, a pair of 490r (rhythm) and 498t (treble) pickups run through individual volume and tone controls and a 3-way pickup selector.

The finish is nitrocellulose lacquer with a translucent wine red tint. It’s in good shape with only light wear; the most noticeable wear is at the back bass side waist edge.

This guitar plays well and cleanly, and is sold with its original brown hard shell case.
