The Twelfth Fret ~ Since 1977 ~

❌SOLD❌ Heritage Golden Eagle Archtop Electric, 2004

Instrument Categories: , , ,

Based on the larger classic archtop guitars, the Heritage Golden Eagle features a 17 inch wide body with carved Spruce top and carved Flame Maple back. The sides and neck are also Flame Maple, and the Ebony fingerboard is bound and has ‘cloud’ pattern mother of pearl position markers. The headstock carries a Mother of Pearl Eagle inlay, and the truss rod cover is the same material. The traditional floating bridge is Ebony, and the tailpiece is gold plated. Tuners are by Sperzel and the floating pickup is custom made for Heritage.

Heritage Guitars is the successor to Gibson at the the original Parsons Street plant in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Formed in 1984 by a number of Gibson employees who did not want to move to Nashville, the plant and some of the fixtures were purchased and production resumed. Heritage focuses on professional, premium and presentation grade models – there is nothing in the entry level range. Quality is uniformly high, and both solidbody and thinline / archtop models are offered.

This Heritage Golden Eagle dates to 2004 and is in very nice condition, with minimal play wear. Fret wear is light, and it plays well. The gold plated hardware has very little wear.

The original Heritage hard shell case is included.
