❌SOLD❌ Heritage H575 Cutaway Archtop Electric Blonde, 1990

The Heritage H575 is a take on the classic single-cutaway Maple laminate archtop electric, and clearly draws from the Gibson ES-175 that originated in the building Heritage now occupies.

Heritage was formed by former Gibson employees who did not want to leave Kalamazoo when Gibson completed its move to Nashville.

This Heritage H575 dates to 1990 and was built at the Parsons Street plant in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Like every other Heritage we’ve seen, it is very well built and finished. This example carries the Natural finish – blonde Maple – done in nitrocellulose lacquer. The top, back and sides are nicely figured Maple laminate for feedback rejection, and the neck is Mahogany with Indian Rosewood for the floating bridge and bound fingerboard.

This guitar is at writing 29 years old now, and is well preserved. There is light marking on the finish, as expected, but it has been well looked after. The neck is a fuller profile and is slightly wider at the nut – 1.85 inches as compared to 1.75 on modern Gibsons – and it is very comfortable to play. All the metal hardware is gold plated, and the pickguard is Maple. The neck pickup has been re-mounted with four screws instead of two – this can sometimes be necessary when the original hole in the mounting tab strips. New holes are drilled and tapped on either side, and the pickup ring is drilled to match. This improves the stability and alignment of the pickup.

This Heritage H575 plays well, sounds great, and looks good.

The original brown Heritage arched top, hard shell case is included.

Here is the builder on the Heritage H575:

“The Heritage H575 archtop is a workhorse for any serious player. Featuring a figured maple body paired with a genuine mahogany neck, and select Indian rosewood fretboard, the H-575 offers a balanced palette of tones.

While this model is primarily sought after by jazz players, the dual Seymour Duncan Seth Lover humbuckers allow the guitar to be quite versatile.

The H-575 is for those seeking a solid construction hollow body that has a clean and balanced voice without breaking the bank.”
