❌SOLD❌ Kenny Hill Curva Negra Crossover, 2005

Brand:

Instrument Categories: , ,

This Kenny Hill Curva Negra Crossover was built in Hill’s Felton, California workshop during 2005 and features a Hauser-influenced cutaway body. The guitar has a Bearclaw-figured Spruce top paired with Indian Rosewood for sides, back headplate and bridge. The body blocks and neck are Mahogany, with Ebony for the fingerboard. The tuners are Schaller-made, also Hauser style machines with black buttons. As an advancement, this instrument is equipped with an adjustable truss rod, accessed through the sound hole.

The finish is French Polish and is very clean; the intent of French Polish is to provide some protection to the instrument while imposing the least limitations on its vibration.

As a ‘Crossover’ style instrument, the Kenny Hill Curva Negra has a soft Venetian cutaway allowing increased access to the upper registers, and a very gently crowned fingerboard. These modifications help the guitar fit better into the jazz fingerstyle, Latin and Bossa Nova genres, as well as traditional Classical styles.

Sold with a black TKL hard shell Case.
