Built during 2003, here is a Kwasnycia K-45, one of the Kwasnycia ‘standard’ models and based on the classic slope shoulder dreadnought body design.
Dennis Kwasnycia has been repairing and building guitars since 1988, and is based in Chatham, Ontario. While he has a number of standard body sizes, he focuses on custom work and each guitar is built in consultation with the customer. The Kwasnycia Guitar shop is also an authorized “Martin” guitar service center for repairs and warranty work.
This Kwasnycia K-45 was custom built and uses a Sitka Spruce top paired with Mahogany back and sides. The neck is multi-layer with Mahogany, Maple and a Walnut center, and Pau Ferro for the headplate, fingerboard and bridge. The body is bound with Ebony, and the fingerboard is bound with Pau Ferro. The installed tuners are black Gotoh models, and a gold set is in the case.
This guitar is in good condition, with light wear to the finish and light fret wear. A strap pin was installed to the heel, but has been removed. It has the warmer, full tone of a slope shoulder dreadnought, and plays nicely.
The original hard shell case is included.

“The traditional look and feel of a 1954 slope shoulder guitar, with a little more bottom end than the Small Jumbo. This guitar is even-toned and very pronounced, and works well for flat picking or finger style.
The tone on this guitar is Deep and rich with great overtones and bright highs along with a even tone across all the strings.”
