From July 11 to August 31, 2017, orders were accepted for the PRS McCarty 594 Soapbar Limited model. Closely based on the standard McCarty 594, the Soapbar Limited substituted Seymour Duncan Antiquity P90’s for the standard humbuckers. The body uses a violin-carved highly figured Maple cap on a Mahogany back. The neck is Mahogany with a bound Indian Rosewood fingerboard bearing PRS bird inlays in Mother of Pearl. The head plate is an open pore Indian Rosewood with an acrylic Paul Reed Smith signature inlay.
This PRS McCarty 594 Soapbar Limited is from that 2017 ordering window and is in excellent, clean and all original condition. Wear to the frets and finish is as minor as it gets.
The original black rectangular hard shell case is included, and contains the original PRS cards and adjustment tools.
