Since 1985 Scot Tremblay has been building fine classical guitars. Based in Victoria BC, one of his specialties is building replicas of the most famous of the 19th century Romantic-Era guitar makers — Louis Panormo, René Lacote, Johann Stauffer, Gennaro Fabricatore — and the list goes on.
Old-world building techniques, accurate historical measurements, French polish finish and the finest in wood selections typify Scott’s superb workmanship.
This fine example of guitars typical of those built by Louis Panormo in London during the 1830s was completed by Tremblay in 2015. It is in immaculate, ‘as new’ condition.
