❌SOLD❌ Warwick Streamer Pro M 5-String Bass, 1999

The Warwick Streamer Pro M bass is a bolt-on design, pairing Quilted Maple with Swamp Ash for the body, and Ovangkol and Wenge for the neck.

Here we have a 5-string version of the Warwick Streamer Pro, built during 1999 at the Warwick shop in Markneukirchen, Saxony – where Framus guitars are also now produced.

For hardware, this bass uses gold plated Schaller tuning gears, and pairs a solid quick-change tailpiece with a fully adjustable 5-saddle bridge. The pickups are a pair of MEC passive J-bass pickups coupled with an active MEC 2-band preamp, powered by a 9v battery. One of the pots is a push/pull to shift from Passive to Active. The nut is a brass Just-A-Nut, which allows each string to be individually adjusted without the files and saws used on traditional nuts.

The body is a familiar arched design, first seen in the early 1980’s on Spector basses and rapidly adopted by many other builders.

This bass is in very good condition with light wear. Oil finishes tend to be easy to maintain, and are quite appropriate for a bass of this type.

A rectangular hard shell case is included.
