SOLD!!! Nechville Phantom Curly Maple Leon Hunt Banjo

Comments Based closely on the banjo made for Leon Hunt, this beautiful example of the Nechville Phantom Curly Maple Leon Hunt Banjo features top of the top grade, highly figured curly maple and cocobolo. This is not a ‘formal’ Nechville model – it doesn’t appear in their product catalog. The Nechville Phantom Curly Maple Leon Hunt Banjo is made for The Twelfth Fret.

The wooden tone ring combined with a mix of steel and nylon ball bearings gives the warm, fat tone of the famous Nechville ‘Zeus’ model. The attractive honey amber on the metal components is a limited run finish.
