Weber Bighorn Mandolin

Today we are featuring the two point Bighorn Mandolin from Weber. Right away this piece caught my eye with its highly flamed maple sides, back and neck which are augmented by the translucent walnut finish. The great vintage vibe of the Bighorn is just the start. Some of the high quality features include: hand graduated and tuned solid spruce top, hand scalloped spruce top bars, gold hardware and a traditional Brekke bridge.

This beautiful mandolin has the largest sound chamber that Weber offers and uses the same high flame maple and top grade spruce as on their widely praised Fern model. The result is a blazing chop, shimmering trebles, growling bass and enough volume to be heard over a heard of bleating Bighorn sheep. The Weber Bighorn Mandolin may have two small points but it sure has one big sound!!
