Comments In absolutely mint condition, this 2007 Stelling Golden Cross Banjo looks like it just came out of a time machine.

Geoff Stelling builds spectacular banjos and the the Golden Cross is actually named after Tony Golden, a friend and one of Stelling’s early customers.

The Golden Cross features curly or flamed maple, with a golden sunburst lacquer finish, and purfling inlaid along the edges of the binding on the neck and and the resonator.

This is a really spectacular instrument in perfect condition.

Serial Number 6425, built during 2007 in Afton, Virginia, USA.
Pricing $3,450.00 CAD with hardshell case. New price is $4,400.
Neck AAA Flame Maple neck with bound, inlaid ebony fingerboard.
Frets Original frets with negligible wear.
Body Flame AAA-grade maple
Finish Gloss nitrocellulose golden sunburst lacquer finish in pristine condition.
Hardware/electronics Nickel plated hardware; planetary tuners with grained ivoroid buttons, nickel plated arm-rest, Stelling engraved tailpiece, and rim.
Playability/Action Plays very well indeed.
