2011 Warmoth Custom Telecaster No longer available

The Telecaster has been in production in one form or another (including as Broadcaster and Esquire, and ‘nocaster’) since early 1950. Part of the brilliance of its design is its adapability. It can easily be customized in a myriad of ways and still work as a playable and reliable instrument. This adaptability has led to a large market for third party manufacturers.

This instrument is built from a body and neck made by Warmoth, under license from Fender. It features a chambered body, which has the lightness and resonance of a ‘Thinline’ but the sustain and clarity of a solidbody. The neck is made of heavily birds-eyed maple, with a pronounced V profile as found on late 1950’s Fender necks.

The neck also has a Warmoth feature – two truss rod adjusters. The primary adjuster is accessed like an early Fender neck – take the neck off, and the adjuster is exposed. The secondary ‘seasonal’ adjuster uses an allen head bolt in the cutaway. This provides for very quick tweaks as the humidity changes.
