Neck Birds-eye maple neck with unbound rosewood fingerboard; zero fret. The trussrod adjuster is accessed by removing the serial number plate.
25.5″ (647.7 mm) scale length, 1 11/16th” (42.86 mm) nut width.
Frets 22 medium frets (plus zero fret) with very little wear.
Body Contoured solid body, likely mahogany.
Finish Gloss orange finish on body, vintage tint clear gloss on neck. Finish is in excellent condition.
Hardware/electronics This guitar features a combination of three single-coil Rez-O-Matik pickups and a piezo pickup in the bridge. There are two selector switches; a five-way single-coil pickup selector switch allowing all standard combinations, and a three-way selector for the coil pickups, coil and piezo, and just the piezo pickup. Rezo-Tube bridge, each string has a resonator tube mounted under the bridge.
Playability/Action This guitar plays very well and cleanly. The frets are in great shape and all the adjustment points are available for any required action.

Comments Built in 2002 by Barry Gibson of Burns, after his purchase of the Burns company from the family. This Burns Nu-Sonic guitar is in excellent condition and is number 21 of 50 built.
