Comments Goya guitars were built by Hagstrom in the late 1950’s and early 1960’s and imported to North America. The model 80, and the very similar model 90, are mostly of plastic construction, chambered-body two-pickup electrics with push-button pickup and tone selectors. Thumb rollers control the volume for each pickup. Apparently 370 model 80’s were built.

This example is in good, playable condition with a bit of damage to the binding on the lower treble bout.
